Family Encounter

A meeting of families was organized in Mayarí (Cuba, MEX) on October 30, 2005. Serious problems like free union, divorce and abortion which threaten family life were discussed in the encounter.

Many families from the neighboring SVD parish at Sagua de Tánamo also took part in the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting was to conscientize the Catholics on the damning consequences free union, divorce and abortion have on the entire family.

Revival of Christian values and respect for family as a communion of life and love were presented as urgent needs for the present times.
