The new Apostolic Nuncio takes charge

The new Apostolic Nuncio in Benin and Togo, our confrere Mons. Michael BLUME arrived in Benin on November 5.

The next day he celebrated a Pontifical Mass at the cathedral in Cotonou.

On November 10 he traveled to Togo and visited our confreres in the Regional house and the Postulancy in Lomé. On November 15 he celebrated the inaugural Mass at the cathedral of Lomé with all the bishops from Togo.

The Archbishop of Lomé underlined the SVD heritage in Togo. The Regional Superior, Fr. Joseph KALLANCHIRA, welcomed the new Apostolic Nuncio to his new mission
