LUANDA/ANGOLA
Perseverance is the key!

Brother Markus SCHILLINGS finds the going tough establishing the mechanical workshop at Luanda. Getting the land, putting up the structures etc. require immense patience as nothing in Angola seems to happen in a hurry.

Markus has a permanent mechanic working with him and the workshop is in demand by the missionaries. Two apprentices have joined him for training.

In January, he plans to launch regular classes in Auto mechanics for the first batch.

As Angola recovers from the long years of civil war, life in the country is still very tough. Facilities like roads, electricity, telephone etc. are still a luxury!
