Zonal Assembly in Sâo Paulo

The fifth PANAM Zonal Assembly was held at Sâo Paulo from August 22-27, 2005. Superior General, Fr. Antonio PERNIA was present at the week-long assembly.

The main point of reflection was “Prophetic Dialogue in the PANAM zone. Fr. Pernia talked to the assembly on “Prophetic Dialogue: From the XV to the XVI General Chapter – Progress, Difficulties and Challenges.”

The talk provided the necessary material for the understanding of “Prophetic Dialogue” in our life and mission. Another talk by Prof. Oscar Boezzo on “Biblical-theological foundation of Prophetic Dialogue – Implications for Mission” also enlightened the confreres on the theme.

New office bearers for the zone were elected during assembly.
