Stadt Gottes reporter wins prize

Lena Fleischer, a voluntary reporter for Stadt Gottes won the second price for her feature article on the restoration of Our Lady’s Church in Dresden.

The “Antonius-Funke- Preis 2005” is given by the Press Federation of Germany. The article, “I have experienced both death and resurrection” by Lena published in the July/August 2005 number of Stadt Gottes won the prize for its thorough research, sensitivity and depth.

The Dresden Church was destroyed more than 60 years ago and was restored and rededicated recently.
