The children’s camp in Zsámbék (20 miles from Budapest) had 250 participants. The youth camp in Kõszeg (close to the Austrian border) had 140. Many Asians were seen among the mostly European crowd which took part in the evening procession from the parish church to the mission house. Participants from the camp and local people, guests from the neighboring big town Szombathely as well as pilgrims from as far as Nagyatád joined the procession. A piece of Universal Church – on Hungarian soil! The Hungarian province is growing in internationality. Indonesian confrere Franciskus MAGUNG (now in the USC) is soon to join the province. Frt. Lourdu CHAVVAKULA and Frt. Siju MANIACHERRY from India will do their OTP programme in Hungary. Meanwhile, two Hungarian confreres are assigned to missions abroad: Fr. Zoltán TÓTH to Ireland and Frt.
