Arnold Janssen Prize 2006 for Church in Need

The Arnold Janssen Award 2006, given by the city of Goch and carries the sum of 15,000 euros, was awarded to the International Catholic Organization, Church in Need.

The award was received by Antonia Willemsen, the long time secretary of the organization. Fr. Bernd WERLE, the Provincial Superior of GEN, a member of the jury which selected the winner, appreciated the commitment Kirche in Not has in working for the eradication of intolerance, violence and marginalization of Christians particularly in the Islamic countries.
