5th European Ecumenical China Conference

The 5th European Ecumenical China Conference was organized at St. Anselm’s abbey, Rome from September 16-20, 2005. The series of conferences aim at establishing contact and cooperation between Christian Churches in Europe and China.

The theme of the conference this year was, “Diversity in Unity.” Superior General Fr. Antonio PERNIA, Assistant Superior General, Fr. Konrad KELER, and Fr. Wilhelm MÜLLER from Rome attended the conference. The Monumenta Serica was represented by Fathers Roman MALEK, Josef BISTUT and Miroslav KOLAR, while Fr. Anton WEBER and Sr. Maria Hildegard were present on behalf of the China Zentrum. Four other SSpS also took part in the conference.
