NICARAGUA
New SVD Region in Central America

The SVD have set up a new region in Nicaragua and Panama. Irish SVDmissionaries, Neil Doogan from Donegal and Felix Bannigan from Dublin, are now part of the SVD team working in the new region.

The Irish-British Province is assisting them to get started. Through the mission secretary some funding has been provided for them to establish their new parish in Managua. Funding is also being provided to assist with the formation of Lectors, for catechists who will work with young people and children, for Youth ministry and for the Biblical Apostolate.

The Regional is also looking for assistance to purchase a vehicle but that is something for another day.
